Today is such a big day for me, first day of classes as well as first day of rush. To say I am nervous for rush is an understatement. The reason I am nervous is due to the fact that I don't know what to expect. I heard that over 1,000 girls are rushing this year which is about 400 more than last year. But I am super excited to meet all the great girls that will be there and hopefully find a sisterhood that I belong to.
Our rounds are as followed:
Wednesday: Orientation
Thursday: Round 1
Friday: Round 1
Saturday: Round 2
Sunday: Round 3
Monday: Round 4
Tuesday: Round 4
Wednesday: BID DAY!!
Keep your fingers crossed for me all week please!

Ah! So exciting!!! You'll be fine I promise. Girls on the other side are just as nervous as you are because they're basically interviewing a potential new sister! Just be yourself, and try to see were you fit best (what conversations you remember most with what girls, where did you feel like you could be yourself, etc.) You'll just know where you belong :) Good luck with rush and college! It goes by so fast!
Good luck!!! Couldn't agree more with Emily! I was more nervous during Rush as an actual sister than I was as a potential new member.
Absolutely be yourself. The most memorable conversations I had with girls were about food & Disney movies, no joke. Once you realize you have something in common with someone, the conversations get SO much easier & less awkward. Try your best not to get wrapped up in which sorority has the most girls, the prettiest colors, the coolest philanthropy, etc... because honestly, it's the friendships & lifelong bonds with these girls that you'll look back on the most :)
