Hello everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend :)

Friday night Michael and I left for Charleston to celebrate his brothers wedding. He was a best man and I was a bridesmaid but funny thing...we didn't get any pictures of the two of us together. Honestly  I didn't take any pictures the ENTIRE weekend (worst blogger award) however I was able to snag a few off of people's Facebook who went :)

The wedding was so beautiful and I cannot for the photographer to email us all the pictures, then I'll do a post with all the professional pictures..not iPhone uploads!!

Also on Friday afternoon all the girls went to get mani & pedi's one at the salon. I got a gel manicure, which I have never got before and let me tell you..they are absolutely the best and I will never get a another regular manicure again!

The polish lasts over 2 weeks and looks like acrylic nails because the polish is so thick! I love it!

Highly recommended!

Sunday afternoon we spent the day in Charleston..and of all the great food, we end up at Andolini's pizza. Our thoughts were just a light meal because we were so stuffed and Michael got a calzone and look how big it was!

 

 I said it looked like an elephant tusk because it was so massive!

Sunday evening I took a stroll after dinner with my family. It was so nice to catch up on the crazy weekend because they also went to another wedding, so we had a lot to talk about! But look at the gorgeous sunset

So pretty. But hope everyone had a great weekend !

Weekend Recap

Once again I am sitting in class blogging (I will pay for this come test time!!) 

I am soo excited today because my iPhone comes in today :) I had pictures on my cell phone from this weekend but I can't turn my phone on, bless it's heart...

(RIP 1st generation droid)

So it will be a picture-less post :(

On Saturday we went up to Charleston and stayed at Michael's brothers, Matt, and his fiance, Maggie's,   house. It was a low key night filled with football, burgers and beer.

Sunday Maggie and I went shopping for bridesmaids dresses. Mind you this is the second time we have attempted this. We went EVERYWHERE and found nothing. Who knew it would be so hard to find a short dress in my size that is champagne color.

If you know where to find a dress, let me know please!!!!

I did buy a tie collar blouse from LOFT and I love it. And the site will not let me save the picture to my computer so there is no hope for this being a pretty post with pictures!

On way home we stopped at a new frozen yogurt place and it was delicious. It was called frozen yogurt in paradise I believe and I highly recommend it.

When we got back I started looking online and found the cutest bridesmaid dress from Rent the Runway

I absolutely love this site because you find a dress, pay like 10% of what the dress cost, so around $70. They will send you two sizes and you send it back in 4 days!

How great.

But I can't wait to get a dress in the mail 4 days before a wedding. I will die because I will be so worried it wouldn't fit or it wouldn't be the exact color I need but I will definitely save the site and maybe get a dress for the bachelorette party or another event!

Monogrammed Musings

Hope all is well and everyone is having a great weekend! 

Big news in the life of Mak:

iPhone 4s is offically ordered and shall be here this week! Eek! SO excited. 

Right now I have the 1st generation Droid..and let me tell you. This phone has been through it all and somehow I managaed to never have to file an insurance claim or anything during the 2+ years I had it. Well lately the storage keeps saying it's low all the time and I have deleted every app and every picture almost and it still says that. Also the battery dies like 5 times a day. That's with me barely using it. 

Plus when I locked my keys in my car a few days ago and my cell phone was completely dead and left me stranded that was the last straw.

So it is on order and I am so estatic!

Now the main reason I did this post is about Monogramming!

Lately I have been obsessed with monogramming everything. I think it looks so polished and preppy. Here are a few pictures I found via Pintrest

 My best friend gave me a monogrammed scarf for Christmas and I absolutely love it!

 I love the idea of monogramming a headboard. Definitely keeping this in thought!

Charleston, shopping & oysters

Hope everyone had a great week!

Mine was the best, I got great news yesterday from the doc's and that means that I am able to transfer to Clemson and no surgery during the summer!!!

So needless to say, that made my week.
