Back to School Necessities and my Smoothie!

Hello everyone!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I went Friday for the consultation and I love the new gym plus it's downstairs from where I work so it makes it really convenient. Also how guilty will I feel leaving work and passing the gym and not go?AND I went on Saturday which is a big step for me :)

Go me!

Yesterday I made a green monster smoothie from a recipe I found on Pintrest! I have been dying to try one of these but was always scared because of the spinach. So I felt on top of the world from going to the gym on a Saturday and was determined to make one when I got home

Heres the recipe that I got from here

Green Monster Spinach Smoothie

Serves 1
1 frozen sliced banana
1 Tablespoon peanut butter
1/2 cup 0% Vanilla Chobani Greek yogurt
1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze (or other kind of milk)
4 cups baby spinach (or more, or less)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Nutritional stats:
350 calories, 10g fiber, 21g protein

When I made it I definitely changed the recipe and made it my own. I added frozen mixed berries to it and it was so great! Plus I had soy egg-nog that needed to be used so I substituted that from 1/2 of the milk and used regular non-fat vanilla yogurt. However it didn't turn out green and was a dark purple and just didn't photograph very well. Here's pictures of what the original recipe would look like:

Being that classes start again tomorrow I feel the need to find new items I need.
Here are some products I have my eye on for a new semester:

New bag for my books

This is from the  Create your own collection from Polo Ralph Lauren.
This bag comes in Navy but I love the white and orange (Clemson colors!!)

A Sarah Pinto agenda

These agendas are so great! I love the way the inside is laid out:

And also I am on the look out for new books for the coffee table. (Kind of school related since it is a book!! :) )

Shop Bop has great fashion books to choose from. Here are a few that I picked.

I am off to get ready for the day. I am crossing my fingers that it warms up enough to lay out today because I could use some color :)

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
